Uzbekistan national team defender Abdukodir Khusanov has been nominated for Manchester City’s April Player of the Month award. His rivals in the vote are Bernardo Silva and Nico O’Reilly. Previously, Khusanov had already won this prize in February 2025, as well as in January and March 2026.

Khusanov’s pace, power and aggression have once again been key components at the heart of City’s defence. At the same time, the 21-year-old has once again demonstrated sharp reading of the game, a wide passing range and an ability to step up in the biggest matches.
